CRD is a charitable institution of the Church of South India, South Kerala Diocese, committed to the total rehabilitation of children and persons with disabilities.

What began in April 1974 with five polio-affected children has grown into a multidisciplinary centre nurturing physical, intellectual, emotional, social and vocational development.

In 2002, the former Polio Home was integrated with the Cerebral Palsy Home and renamed CRD—a meaningful step towards a wider, more inclusive vision of rehabilitation.

Today, education, therapy, medical support, residential care and community outreach meet under one mission: helping every person participate fully in family and society.
